A Steel Plant might be setup in Mundaragi Taluk, which comes under Gadag District.More than 5000 Acres is going to be aquired.This has created tension and uncertainity amongst the Farmers whose land might be aquired. POSCO,Pohang Steel Company is a South Korean Company,which is set to do this Mega Project with an investment of Rs/-32,000 Crore.
