The Posco steel plant coming up in Mundaragee Taluk will be shifted

to another location.The Villages Halligudi and Mevundi where the

proposed Steel Plant was going to come up saw some hectic activity

in the past months,regarding the acquisition of Fields. Finally the Steel

Plant was decided to be shifted to another location.Many of the jubilant

farmers wept and performed pooja in there respective fields.
